Duties
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and safety protocols
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, site managers, subcontractors, and clients to interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts for accurate project delivery
- Monitor daily construction site activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality expectations
- Procurement of resources, equipment & materials as needed to manage job expectations.
- Oversee project scheduling and resource allocation to optimize workflow efficiency
- Manage contract negotiations, change orders, and procurement processes to maintain project scope integrity
- Conduct regular site inspections and coordinate project meetings to facilitate effective communication among all stakeholders
- Provide necessary supporting documentation for project deliverables to office management to support billing activities.
- Provide approved purchase orders and invoices to office management.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating, project scheduling, contract management, and blueprint reading
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent time management skills
- Deep understanding of construction site operations and safety regulations
- Exceptional project coordination skills with a focus on collaboration across teams and disciplines
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately
- Effective communication skills for clear reporting and stakeholder engagement
- Previous hands on experience in the field is helpful (finish/rough carpentry)
- Bilingual is a plus.
