Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Food Prep team member to join our dynamic culinary environment. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen while supporting food preparation and service operations. Duties
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and readiness for use
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Help with basic food presentation and plating as needed for banquets or catering events
- Maintain sanitation standards by cleaning workstations, floors, and storage areas regularly
- Assist kitchen staff with inventory management and organization of supplies
- Follow all safety and food handling protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Support catering events by preparing ingredients and assisting with setup as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is a plus but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to support various kitchen functions
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds when necessary
- Basic culinary skills or kitchen experience are advantageous but not required
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent customer service in a hospitality setting
