Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Breakfast Server to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest experiences during morning hours, ensuring that guests enjoy a seamless and memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong customer service skills, and experience in food service environments, particularly in fine dining or hospitality settings. Previous experience with POS systems such as Toast POS or Micros POS is a plus. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their breakfast experience
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently maintained during food handling and serving
- Assist with setting up breakfast buffet or table arrangements as needed
- Clear tables efficiently, bussing dishes and maintaining a clean dining area
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly
- Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including daily specials and dietary accommodations
- Support guest relations by providing friendly, professional service that encourages repeat visits
Skills
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and revenue
- Prior restaurant or food service experience, especially in fine dining or hospitality environments, is preferred
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
- Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus
- Familiarity with serving in nightclubs or hosting/host roles can be advantageous but not required
- Strong communication skills, team-oriented attitude, and adaptability in a fast-paced setting
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $7.33 per hour
