Septic Install Laborer

Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Day Shift
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

We are seeking a reliable Septic Install Laborer to join our team. This physically demanding role involves digging, heavy labor, pipe installation, driving, and using power tools and chainsaws. The ideal candidate follows directions carefully, works well in all weather, and is eager to learn septic system installation techniques.

Note: This is a safety-sensitive position. Applicants must 18 years of age, hold a current driver’s license with a minimum of 3 years of verifiable driving experience (to meet commercial auto insurance eligibility requirements), have a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and all physical job requirements of the role.
 

Employees in this position are also subject to random drug and alcohol screening throughout employment in accordance with company policy and applicable laws.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install new septic systems, including excavating, laying pipes, and connecting tanks and drainage fields
• Use power tools and chainsaws safely and effectively
• Maintain and clean tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and reporting any maintenance or repair needs to supervisors
• Follow directions from supervisors and work independently or as part of a team
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor, such as digging, excavating, lifting 75 lbs on a regular basis, and working in outdoor environments
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum age 18 (eligible to drive a company vehicle and insurable under company policy)
• Valid WA State Driver’s License
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Physical fitness for heavy labor outdoors in all weather conditions
• Experience operating power tools and chainsaws
• Willingness to learn

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime based upon business needs may be available
• On-call rotation may be needed/required
