About The Role
Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will use your analytical strengths to determine accurate cost structures across our portfolio and help guide strategic pricing. This role offers hands-on experience with product innovation, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of manufacturing and supply chain costs across our organization and apply that knowledge to product cost modeling.
- Translate unique customer needs into financial implications to support sales negotiations and strategy.
- Partner with R&D, Marketing, Sales, Procurement, and Production teams to build cost structures for new product innovations.
- Identify and communicate significant cost variances to product managers clearly and efficiently.
- Maintain and analyze product costing data—including profit, labor, overhead, conversion cost, volume forecasts, materials, and commodities—to ensure margin goals are accurate and achieved.
- Support initiatives to standardize and streamline the costing process.
- Contribute to additional FP&A activities as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Background in engineering, supply chain, operations, finance, accounting, economics, or general business.
- Solid understanding of cost accounting methods and principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and detail‑oriented skill set.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills—including the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Proficiency with Office 365 and advanced Excel capabilities.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, with an ability to influence without direct authority.
- CPA or CMA certification.
- Familiarity with data visualization and financial modeling tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Adaptive, Anaplan).
- Experience with process automation and ERP systems (JDE preferred).
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
