What You'll Do
- Analyze personal and business financial statements and tax returns
- Build cash flow models and apply financial ratios (LTV, Loan-to-Cost, DSCR, DTI)
- Participate in credit risk evaluations and learn risk mitigation strategies
- Gain exposure to loan origination systems, financial modeling software, and reporting tools
- Research market trends and economic indicators impacting commercial lending
- Collaborate across teams and contribute to client-facing communications and professional presentations
- Currently pursuing a Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with financial statements, ratios, and credit concepts
- Proficiency with Excel; experience with financial modeling or data analysis tools is a plus
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a professional environment
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of commercial lending operations
