About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Planning Analyst to play a key role in organizational budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and strategic analysis that will directly support the long-term financial health and growth of the Association This role blends financial analysis, cross departmental partnership, reporting, and strategic insight. The ideal candidate is strong in communicating complex financial data into clear actionable recommendations to the leadership team.

What You Need:
\tEducation: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
\tExperience: 3 years of financial analysis or related experience
\tCertification Preferred: CMA certification

\tStrong Excel and financial systems expertise (PowerBI, OneStream, GL software)
\tExcellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical abilities

Preferred office location is Jefferson City, MO. Columbia, MO would be considered after a training period.

Minimum Qualifications
\tBachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job. Master's degree preferred.
\tMinimum of 3 years of financial analysis, accounting, or related experience.
\tFarm Credit or Financial Services industry experience preferred.
\tCertified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
\tAdvanced working knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and financial ratios.
\tAdvanced knowledge of technology-related applications, which may include general ledger software, Excel, PowerBI, and OneStream.
\tListening, written, and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
\tAbility to present information and ideas clearly and understandably to others.
