Purpose
This position controls all operational aspects of the restaurant with a standard of achieving budgeted revenue goals, inventory control, quality control, staffing, team member development and training, positive guest satisfaction scores, and assigned administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Provide genuine, warm service to all our guests throughout their dining experience; from greeting patrons and serving tables to suggesting and delivering dishes, drinks, and new menu items, to maintaining a welcoming environment.
- Supporting all team members in the efficient and consistent delivery of performance goals through daily stand-up sessions.
- Establishing and maintaining training and development programs for a high level of service.
- Setting standards for cleanliness and on-going maintenance of our dining rooms and public spaces.
- Managing all team members completion of daily opening, on-going, and closing side work responsibilities.
- Maintaining various cash handling responsibilities.
- Conducting product inventory procedures.
- Assisting with various invoice coding and accounting procedures.
- Writing and managing schedules around availability, time-off requests, in-times, out-times, and breaks, including covering breaks as needed.
- Staying knowledgeable about our current menu choices, as well as any specialties.
- Working with vendors to create innovative beverage menus.
- Tending the bar, serving cocktails, and providing drink pairing recommendations as needed.
- Acting as a cashier to process purchases and provide receipts and change as needed.
- Supporting daily Hotel functions as they may arise, including In-Room Dining, guest welcome amenities, and other related tasks.
- Following OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
- Performing other duties as assigned by management.
