Reports to: FOH Manager / General Manager
Summary:
A host is responsible for welcoming in and informing guests of what 810 Billiards and Bowling has to offer. Hosts run, maintain, and manage gaming equipment and activities. Hosts are responsible for providing and fostering positive relationships and memorable experiences with guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet and interact with guests in person and over the phone.
- Know and be able to explain all bowling and gaming options and pricing.
- Maintain and effectively manage Switch reservation system for gaming.
- Oversee guest bowling and gaming experience.
- Properly maintain gaming equipment.
- Communicate with team members throughout the shift.
- Assist team members with resetting lanes to help manage lane turnover rates.
- Stay updated on current specials offered.
Qualifications
- Must be able to perform each essential duty to a satisfactory level.
Education and/or Experience:
- 1 year secondary education and must be of legal age per local law.
Computer Skills:
- Ability to operate POS register system.
- Ability to understand Microsoft Windows.
Language Skills:
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple English instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-on and small group situations to customers and fellow team members.
Mathematical Skills:
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate and percent.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one-or-two step instructions.
- Ability to work efficiently with people.

Physical Demands:
