The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, utensils, and food service areas while supporting the dietary team in providing safe and efficient meal service to our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dish room, and dining areas in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Assist with breakdown and setup of dining areas as needed
- Remove trash and recycling according to facility procedures
- Follow infection control, food safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Support dietary staff with light cleaning and kitchen tasks as assigned
- Maintain a respectful and professional demeanor with residents, visitors, and team members
- Previous dishwasher or kitchen experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- Strong attention to cleanliness and safety
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screening
