Key Responsibilities
Dining Room Service & Execution
- Set up dining areas and serving stations prior to each meal.
- Serve meals to residents in accordance with menu guidelines and dietary requirements.
- Ensure meals are delivered accurately, efficiently, and with a high level of service.
- Reset tables, refill water, and maintain an organized and inviting dining environment.
- Deliver meal trays to resident apartments as needed.
- Provide warm, respectful, and attentive service to residents, families, and guests.
- Approach all interactions with professionalism and a residentfirst mindset.
- Anticipate resident needs and respond promptly to requests.
- Support a calm, welcoming, and hospitalitydriven dining atmosphere.
- Complete assigned side work, opening tasks, and closing duties consistently and on time.
- Assist with dish area support, cleaning, and overall dining room upkeep as needed.
- Support kitchen and dining team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, service stations, and related workspaces.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.
- Uphold residents’ rights, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, leadership, and care teams.
- Participate in required training and support continuous improvement.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall dining operations.

- Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred
- Food Handler’s Permit (or willingness to obtain)
- ServSafe Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment

- Compassion for and a desire to work with older adults
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull as needed for service duties
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to meet all health requirements.
