Role summary
Handle day to day data entry and reporting for an after school program. You will make sure site records are complete and up to date, build reports for the program director, and help track results across classes, activities, and sessions.
What you will do
- Enter participant information into required web based databases with complete and accurate details
- Build and update class rosters, name activities correctly, and record weekly attendance
- Set up simple systems to organize forms, files, and documentation for compliance
- Run weekly, monthly, and annual reports that show program outcomes and trends
- Support site staff and act as the go to person for questions about data and reporting
- Help chaperone field trips and special events when needed
What you bring
- Solid computer skills and strong comfort with Excel, Word, and Google Docs
- 1 to 2 years of experience working with databases; DYCD Connect, Cityspan, or EZReports experience is a plus
- Clear, professional communication and strong attention to detail
- Reliable follow through and ability to meet deadlines
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Able to climb stairs and occasionally lift or move program materials
Schedule and setting
- Monday through Friday
- Up to 20 hours per week while school is in session
- Up to 25 hours per week during school breaks
- In person role based at NYC public school sites in Queens
