Overview
The ideal candidate is highly proficient in data analysis, experienced with clinical and financial datasets, and comfortable working with multiple supply chain systems and databases.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, interpret, and summarize clinical and financial data using Microsoft Access, Excel, and multiple internal databases.
- Design and maintain tables and databases supporting sourcing, contracting, and value creation processes.
- Identify cost-containment and clinical quality improvement opportunities within the hospital supply chain.
- Create high-quality executive presentations for senior leadership.
- Assist with implementation and rollout of value analysis software across the system.
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain, Materials Management, Contracting, and GPO teams to meet analytical requirements.
- Manage the item dictionary: update pricing, vendor details, packaging units, new items, and deactivations.
- Use tools like DataLynx, GHX, and Novus to support SKU rationalization and annual savings objectives.
- Provide analytics for contract conversion opportunities alongside buyers and contract category managers.
- Support System Analysts and facility end users as needed.
Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Analyst.
- Healthcare supply chain experience required.
