Cleaner (Porter) - $18.00/hour

Position summary

This porter role supports back-of-house operations by keeping the kitchen and work areas clean, organized, and ready for service. You will help maintain cleanliness, support the prep team when needed, and keep the team moving efficiently during busy periods.

What you’ll do

• Keep the kitchen and back-of-house areas clean and organized.
• Wash dishes throughout service and stay ahead of rush periods.
• Replenish cutlery and glass stations.
• Clear bus bins when full.
• Occasionally assist the prep team during slower periods.
• Maintain safety standards and follow workplace policies and procedures.
• Communicate clearly with the back-of-house team.

What you’ll need

• Previous porter experience.
• Back-of-house experience in a hospitality setting.
• Strong communication skills and a welcoming presence.
• Ability to work positively and collaboratively with the team.
• Ability to learn quickly, multitask, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly, efficient, team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and special events.
