Locum - Physician Assistant (PA) - Gastroenterology

**Job Description: **

**Coverage Dates: ** Immediate availability required; every other week schedule (7 consecutive days on, followed by 7 consecutive days off).

**Working Hours: ** Sunday to Saturday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

**Call Coverage Details: ** No overnight call; initial contact via beeper or phone during shift.

**Call Ratio: ** Only the first call during the shift is expected.

• Callback Hours: ** Not applicable.

**Provider Requirement: ** One provider is needed.

**Practice Setting: ** Inpatient / Hospital-Based.

**Patient Demographics: ** Adult patient population only.

**Outpatient vs. Inpatient Care: ** 100% inpatient setting.

**Patient Volume: ** Expected average of 20-25 patients per day.

**Trauma Center Level: ** Level 1 facility.

**Required Duties and Skills

: ** Responsibilities include conducting consults and follow-up visits, as well as scheduling and preparing for endoscopy procedures.

**EMR Documentation System:
** EPIC.

**Shift Summary: ** Scheduled every other week with a 7-on, 7-off rotation, from 7 AM to 5 PM. No on-call duties.

**Mandatory Qualifications: **

• Board Certified (Required) - Active Ohio Medical License (Required)
• BLS Certification (Required) - Minimum of 2 years of experience (Preferred)
