- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the store displays are attractive and well-maintained through effective merchandising.
- Assist with inventory management by stocking new products, and managing the cash drawer with precision.
- Support sales goals by upselling products and promoting special offers or seasonal promotions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations, including supervising or assisting less experienced staff when needed.
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred; convenient store experience or familiarity with retail math is a plus.
- Strong communication skills coupled with excellent customer engagement.
- Knowledge of retail store product details, merchandising techniques, and POS systems enhances your ability to succeed.
- Experience in cashiering, cash register operations, and cash drawer handling ensures accurate transactions.
- Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for retail math calculations during sales transactions.
