WHAT’S BREWING IN THIS ROLE...

The Manager, External Manufacturing & Supply Chain Operations is responsible for leading day-to-day supply chain execution across external manufacturing, production planning, inventory management, and supply chain operations for 7 Brew's growing beverage portfolio.

This role serves as the primary operational lead for contract manufacturing partners and supports supply continuity across retail, distribution, and internal business channels. The position works cross-functionally with Logistics, Retail Operations, Finance, Product Development, Quality, and Commercial teams to ensure efficient and scalable supply chain performance.

This role reports to the Head of Supply Chain and directly supports organizational growth through operational leadership, process development, and team management.

External Manufacturing Leadership

• Serve as the primary operational contact for contract manufacturing partners.
• Manage day-to-day relationships with external manufacturers and key suppliers.
• Coordinate production schedules to support demand requirements.
• Monitor manufacturing performance, service levels, and operational KPIs.
• Lead issue resolution related to production, inventory, and supply disruptions.

Production Planning & Supply Management

• Develop and maintain production plans aligned with demand forecasts.
• Monitor inventory levels across manufacturers, warehouses, and distribution partners.
• Manage weeks-of-supply reporting and inventory health metrics.
• Coordinate supply planning activities to ensure product availability.
• Identify and mitigate supply risks.

Supply Chain Operations

• Oversee operational execution across manufacturing, inventory, and logistics functions.
• Coordinate inventory deployment and replenishment activities.
• Ensure alignment between production schedules and logistics requirements.
• Support successful execution of new product launches and retail expansion initiatives.

Team Leadership

• Manage and develop the CPG Supply Chain Analyst.
• Establish priorities, objectives, and performance expectations.
• Provide coaching and development support.
• Build scalable processes and operating procedures.

Systems & Reporting

• Maintain supply chain KPIs and operational dashboards.
• Support ERP and EDI process improvements.
• Develop reporting tools to improve visibility and decision-making.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Logistics, Retail Operations, Finance, Quality, and Commercial teams.
• Support commercialization and retail launch readiness activities.
• Coordinate operational planning across multiple business functions.
• Provide recommendations to leadership regarding supply chain performance and capacity planning.

MUST HAVE INGREDIENTS…

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 5 years of supply chain, manufacturing, planning, or operations experience.
• Experience managing contract manufacturers, suppliers, or production operations.
• Previous leadership or people management experience preferred.

Technical Skills

• Experience with ERP systems and supply chain planning tools.
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Supply planning and inventory management experience.

Preferred Experience

• Beverage, food, or consumer packaged goods experience.
• Walmart, mass retail, grocery, or convenience channel experience.
• Manufacturing planning and commercialization experience.
• Experience working within high-growth organizations.
