What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Sales & Customer Support position at 615 Auto Sales?
615 Auto Sales in Hendersonville is looking for exceptional people to join our sales and customer support team.
This is an automotive sales position, but automotive experience is not required.
We are looking for people who are dependable, competitive, good with customers, quick to learn and capable of handling a fast-paced environment. We care much more about the quality of the person than the industry they came from.
Some of our strongest people have come from automotive sales. Others have come from completely different backgrounds. If you have a history of performing well, taking responsibility and becoming someone your employer can rely on, we would like to talk to you.
Our business is heavily focused on customer service and financing. Our sales team works closely with management throughout the customer experience, from the initial conversation and application, through vehicle selection and delivery.
You do not need prior finance experience. We will teach you our process.

- Shows up, performs and can be counted on
- Communicates well and is naturally comfortable with people
- Can handle multiple customers and priorities at the same time
- Learns quickly and retains information
- Is organized and pays attention to details
- Has good judgment and knows when to involve management
- Is coachable and willing to follow an established process
- Takes accountability for their own performance
- Is competitive and motivated by goals
- Works with urgency
- Takes pride in doing things well
- Wants an opportunity to grow
Automotive sales experience is a plus. Someone with successful automotive sales experience can often step in, learn our process quickly and begin producing immediately.
We are also very interested in people from hospitality and other fast-paced customer-facing environments. Servers, bartenders, restaurant professionals and hospitality leaders often develop many of the same skills that translate well into automotive sales, including communication, multitasking, urgency and the ability to work with several customers at once.
Other successful backgrounds could include professional sales, wireless, banking, finance, insurance, account management, business development, customer service, retail leadership, restaurant management and other performance-driven positions.
Career stability, increased responsibility, promotions, awards and a history of measurable achievement are all things we value, but an impressive resume is not the only way to get our attention.
A college degree is a plus, but it is not required.
Bilingual candidates are also a plus.
Compensation
Strong performers can realistically earn $100,000 per year, with substantially higher earning potential for exceptional producers.
Our compensation plan rewards production and customer service, with additional bonuses available at higher monthly sales levels.
Minimum production standards apply and will be explained during the interview process.
Training
The first 30 days are considered an initial training and ramp-up period.
You will be trained on our sales process, CRM, financing workflow, customer communication standards and dealership procedures.
Advancement
We strongly believe in promoting from within. There is real opportunity to advance into dealership management for employees who consistently perform, learn the business and demonstrate leadership ability.
Our current dealership managers began their careers with us in sales.
