Five Churches Brewing is in its 7th year of operation in New Britain, CT. We are distributing to 50 local restaurants/bars and release new cans weekly. Our staple IPAs, Pew Pew and Steeple People are well known throughout Connecticut, a state quickly becoming known for its craft brew scene. About the Pizza Kitchen staff member role:
Five Churches Brewing is hiring a part-time Pizza Kitchen Member who will be responsible for putting out pizzas and pretzels in our newly renovated taproom.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Ability to help our operations for the pizza kitchen in our renovated taproom
Helping to maintain an organized and hygienic kitchen that meets safety and health standards
Join a work environment that promotes excellent teamwork and communication while interacting with other employees and customers
At a minimum, the Kitchen member must have the following qualifications:
Ability to take direction and work calmly and effectively under pressure
Ability to carry out tasks to kitchen staff to ensure excellent time management
Passion for helping to create innovative food including keeping up with growing trends within the food and beverage industry
Excellent communication and organization skills
Knowledge of operation, maintenance and sanitation procedures for basic kitchen equipment
Position requires the physical ability to lift 50-60 pounds. Must be able to stand, walk, lift and bend for long periods of time.
Position requires a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
Preferred Skills / Experience (not required)
2 years experience in a commercial kitchen
Serve Safe Certified
Compensation:
Salary negotiable based on experience
