We are searching for a Contract Strategic Sourcing Manager for our health insurance client. In this role, you'll lead enterprise strategic sourcing initiatives, develop category strategies, negotiate complex supplier agreements, and partner with business leaders to optimize procurement operations across a variety of indirect spend categories. As a Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will:
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for complex indirect spend categories that align with business objectives.
- Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing events, including RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations.
- Negotiate complex agreements including Statements of Work (SOWs), Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Letters of Agreement (LOAs), and related procurement documents.
- Build trusted relationships with business stakeholders and suppliers while driving cost savings, supplier performance, and risk mitigation.
- Analyze spend data, market conditions, and supplier performance to identify sourcing opportunities and long-term value.
- Manage supplier relationships through the full lifecycle, including onboarding, performance reviews, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement policies, governance standards, and regulatory requirements are met.
- Present sourcing strategies, business cases, and contract recommendations to leadership and executive stakeholders.
Who we're searching for / About you:
- 10 years of procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or category management experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading strategic sourcing initiatives for complex indirect spend categories.
- Strong contract negotiation experience with enterprise supplier agreements and Statements of Work.
- Experience developing sourcing strategies, conducting RFx events, and managing supplier relationships.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and executive presentation skills.
- Experience supporting enterprise procurement within healthcare, insurance, technology, or other highly regulated industries is strongly preferred.
- Experience sourcing IT, Professional Services, or Health Care Services/Pharmacy categories is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field preferred. Industry certifications such as CPSM, CPSD, CPM, or similar are a plus.

Logistics:
- Contract: 6-month engagement
- Location: Remote within Oregon, Washington, Idaho, North Dakota or Utah
- Must be able to work Pacific Time business hours.
