Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students' academic, behavioral, and functional needs.
- Modify curriculum and instructional strategies to meet individual student goals.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families.
- Implement accommodations, modifications, and behavior intervention plans.
- Participate in Case Conference Committee (CCC) meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Ensure compliance with IDEA, Indiana Department of Education guidelines, and district policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid Indiana Special Education Teaching License (or eligibility to obtain).
- Previous school-based special education experience preferred.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.
