JOB DESCIPTION:
Agricultural company based in Los Lunas, NM, looking for a full-time welder/fabricator to perform duties on local farms/ranches/feedlot. Truck and welding rig will be provided. Must provide own hand tools.
SCHEDULE:
Monday-Friday
Some Saturdays may be required
PAY:
Dependent on experience and skill set. Paid overtime.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Minimum 3 years welding and fabrication experience
· Experience with stick and MIG welding
· Must be able to use a cutting torch
· Welding certification is NOT required
· Must be reliable and able to work full-time
· All candidates will go through an interview process with a supervisor
· Must have a valid NM driver’s license and have an MVR that will be accepted by insurance
· Must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
· Work on your feet outdoors through all seasons
· Use ladders/hand tools/power tools safely
· Must be 18 years old
· Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test. Random tests will be administered.
DUTIES:
· Shop fabrication (layout, cut, fit, and stick weld gate frames, pickets, hinges, and posts out of pipe, square tube, angle, and plate)
· Grinding, prep, and coating prep on finished assemblies
· Field install (post setting, forming, pouring footings)
· Loading, staging, and hauling material safely to and from job sites
· Must be able to read prints and build to plans
· Must be dependable and self-motivated and take pride in doing a job well done
Pay: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
