Duties
- Manage shipping and receiving processes, including verifying inbound and outbound shipments with RF scanners and AS400 systems.
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, stock, and organize inventory safely and efficiently.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels, update stock records, and facilitate order fulfillment.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision using RF scanners and proper packaging techniques to ensure accuracy and product safety.
- Stock shelves systematically for easy access and efficient warehouse distribution; perform regular stock counts and cycle counts.
- Assist with warehouse organization by maintaining a clean, safe environment and adhering to safety protocols during all load & unload activities.
- Support e-commerce order processing by accurately selecting items for online orders in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software such as AS400 or MRPs.
- Valid forklift certification with experience operating reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers in a busy warehouse setting.
- Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures along with basic math skills for inventory calculations.
- Experience with RF scanners, order picking & packing processes, and logistics equipment like load & unload machinery.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail; excellent organizational skills are essential.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse distribution principles including stocking strategies and order fulfillment workflows.
