Facility: Kyle 2 - Lagrange, GA Position Summary: It is the responsibility of the stackers to insure first quality packing and proper separation of colors and styles, as well as proper yardage amounts in each box. Educational requirements: High school diploma or GED Skills and experience: Good communication skills, written and verbal Previous manufacturing experience preferred Essential duties: Place proper amount of tiles in boxes according to boxing specifications Insure that all tiles are flat and square in box. Stack pallets of carpet tile for bin box shipments when scheduled Check run schedules for special packaging or stack-off instructions Process boxes through the box machine insuring proper sealing without box damage. Insure that box machine is clean and in proper working order Be alert for quality defects such as short cut and bevels prior to boxing Move all off-quality tiles to the reinspection table. Maintain housekeeping Comply with safety rules Comply with environmental regulations Be aware of departmental Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) Ensure ISO procedures are followed. Understand and support the Interface commitment to sustainability.
