We are seeking a proactive HR Coordinator to support employee relations and safety initiatives in a fast-paced marine manufacturing environment. This role serves as a key liaison between employees, HR leadership, and EHS teams to promote a positive, compliant, and productive workplace.
This is a six month contract with ample opportunity to be hired on permanently.
Qualifications
- 1 years of HR or employee relations experience in manufacturing, industrial, or similar environments
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Working knowledge of workplace safety/EHS practices
- High attention to detail with demonstrated discretion and professionalism
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally
- Able to maintain strict confidentiality
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee HR inquiries and day-to-day support
- Partner with EHS teams to reinforce safety programs and regulatory compliance
- Maintain strict confidentiality of employee records and sensitive HR matters
- Address and resolve employee conflicts using sound judgment and best practices
- Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment on HR initiatives and workforce needs
