About the Role
We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who is passionate about patient care and enjoys building meaningful relationships with older adults. In this role, you’ll provide therapy services to residents within one community, working closely with a supervising Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality outpatient care.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one occupational therapy services under the direction of an OT
- Carry out individualized treatment plans and document progress
- Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate updates to the supervising OT
- Support patients in improving ADLs, IADLs, strength, balance, cognition, and functional mobility
- Ensure documentation and compliance standards are met
- Collaborate with community staff to support patients’ functional independence
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited COTA program
- Active NC COTA license (or eligibility)
- Strong communication skills
- Compassionate, reliable, and motivated to work with older adults
