Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) located in Wake Forest, NC. The COTA will support the implementation of occupational therapy plans under the supervision of licensed Occupational Therapists. Key responsibilities include assisting patients in their rehabilitation journey, conducting therapy sessions to improve motor skills and daily living activities, maintaining accurate patient records, and collaborating with families, educators, and other professionals to meet therapy goals.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation techniques
- Experience in delivering high-quality Patient Care and Home Care services
- Ability to contribute to Program Development and customize therapy plans
- Active COTA certification and compliance with state licensure requirements
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with families, educators, and team members
- Experience with pediatric or school-based therapy is preferred
- Empathy, adaptability, and a passion for helping children reach their full potential
