Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Framer Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install framing components using hand tools and power tools to meet project specifications.
- Erect metal buildings and steel structures with precision, following schematics and blueprints.
- Perform concrete forming tasks, including setting up forms and rebar installation to prepare for pouring concrete.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate construction.
- Install siding, stucco, trim carpentry elements, and other finishing components to enhance building aesthetics.
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes when needed for material handling or structural assembly.
- Conduct masonry work, roofing, plastering, and restoration tasks as required for project completion.
- Collaborate with construction management teams to coordinate workflows and ensure safety compliance on-site.
- Execute heavy lifting tasks safely using appropriate techniques and equipment to handle materials efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
Experience
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in framing carpentry within commercial or residential construction environments.
- Strong knowledge of metal stud framing, roofing systems, siding installation, and drywall finishing.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction management principles.
- Hands-on experience with concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, welding, and plastering is highly desirable.
- Skilled in operating hand tools (hammers, saws), power tools (drills, nail guns), and heavy equipment (forklifts or cranes).
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in demanding settings.
- Prior site experience working with construction teams on large-scale projects involving remodeling or restoration is a plus.
