TLP Trucking is looking for a dependable, organized, and motivated Administrative & Operations Assistant to join our growing trucking company.

This is a hands-on position with a variety of responsibilities. We are looking for someone who can stay organized, pay attention to details, follow through on tasks, and help keep the office and business running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Invoicing and billing
• Tracking and organizing receipts
• Record keeping and filing
• Creating employee pay stubs and payroll-related paperwork
• Tracking weekly Profit & Loss numbers
• Assisting with QuickBooks and other office records
• Handling advertising and marketing tasks
• Helping with personal and administrative tasks for management
• Following up on assigned tasks and deadlines
• Assisting with trucking and office operations
• Handling various small tasks that come up throughout the day
• Helping identify problems and getting them taken care of

• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Reliable and able to follow through without constant supervision
• Comfortable working with numbers and financial information
• Good computer skills
• Able to learn new software and systems
• Good communication skills
• Able to handle confidential information professionally
• Self-motivated and willing to take initiative
• Someone who can manage multiple tasks without getting overwhelmed
• QuickBooks experience is a major plus
• Trucking, accounting, or office experience is preferred but not required

This Position Can Grow

We are open to hiring someone at different experience levels.

Someone with less experience may initially work under an office manager or other team member while learning our systems and responsibilities.

For the right person—with strong organizational skills, accounting knowledge, good judgment, and the ability to get things done—this position can grow into a role working directly with the owner and helping manage day-to-day business operations.
