The Landscape Laborer will work closely with other team members and supervisors to ensure that all projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping tasks.
- Assist in the installation and maintenance landscape and lawns.
- Participate in tree care such as trimming and planting.
- Operate machinery, including excavators, for landscaping projects.
- Engage in hardscape installation, including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Conduct snow plowing and salting during winter months.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working and safe condition.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in landscaping or related fields is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for equipment operation and maintenance, but not required.
- Familiarity with plant types is a plus.
- Experience with gardening techniques and plant care is advantageous.
- Knowledge of construction practices related to landscaping projects is desirable.
- Candidates should be willing to learn new skills and techniques as part of their professional development within the company.
