Position Summary
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support the accounts payable operations and assist with administrative tasks across multiple entities managed by the Family Office. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing family office in a hybrid role (4 days onsite, 1 day remote). The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of accounts payable experience and will report to the Accounts Payable Manager.
Strong accounting knowledge, sound judgment, attention to detail, and effective communication skills are essential. Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office tools—especially Excel—is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle full-cycle accounts payable for multiple entities
- Resolve vendor issues and account discrepancies
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely payments
- Reconcile multiple credit card accounts and provide monthly expense reports
- Maintain organized records of paid invoices and supporting documentation
- Assist with organizing and maintaining electronic documents
- Support year-end 1099 reporting
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2–3 years of experience in full-cycle accounts payable
- Family office or investment fund experience is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software; QuickBooks and Bill.com experience preferred
- Upholds strict confidentiality and professionalism
Salary : $60,000 - $90,000
