Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings, ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as plumbing inspection cameras to diagnose issues and execute repairs efficiently
• Perform drain cleaning using appropriate techniques and equipment to prevent or resolve blockages
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately execute plumbing layouts and modifications
• Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, materials, and personnel to various job sites while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols
• Conduct remodeling projects involving plumbing system upgrades or new installations in existing structures
• Collaborate with construction teams, contractors, and clients to ensure project specifications are met with high-quality craftsmanship

Skills

• Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing installation and repair in both residential and commercial settings
• Proficiency in welding techniques for pipe fitting and repairs when necessary
• Skilled in drain cleaning methods using manual or power tools for effective blockage removal
• Familiarity with plumbing system maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair procedures
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications accurately
• Strong knowledge of local building codes related to plumbing systems and safety regulations
• Experience operating heavy machinery such as pipe assembly equipment or other construction tools
• Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about work performed and future maintenance needs
• Hands-on experience with plumbing inspection cameras for diagnostics in tight or complex spaces
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and reading technical documents accurately
• Physical ability for heavy lifting, climbing ladders, bending, and working in confined spaces safely
• Handyman experience or general construction site experience is a plus for versatile project support

Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
