Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Electrician to join our team and contribute to the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across diverse environments. Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial and commercial electrical systems, including high-voltage wiring and low-voltage circuits.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system layouts.
• Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot complex electrical systems efficiently.
• Ensure all work complies with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC (National Electrical Code), local electrical codes, and safety procedures.
• Perform electrical wiring for renovations, construction projects, or upgrades on existing structures while adhering to blueprint specifications.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely to complete installations and repairs on time.
• Troubleshoot issues in industrial electrical systems using diagnostic techniques and implement effective solutions promptly.
• Read electrical schematics accurately to identify wiring paths, component locations, and system configurations.
• Follow all electrical safety procedures rigorously to prevent accidents or hazards on the job site.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, or clients to ensure project specifications are met within scope and timeline.

Skills

• Proven experience as an electrician in industrial settings with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems.
• Commercial electrician experience with expertise in commercial electrical systems installation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards) and adherence to local electrical codes.
• Skilled in electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting electrical systems efficiently using appropriate tools like ohmmeters.
• Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks in industrial environments.
• Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical diagrams accurately for precise installations.
• Familiarity with high-voltage electrical wiring procedures and low-voltage system configurations.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment at all times.
• Construction site experience including renovation projects or new build installations; handyman skills are a plus.
• Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, and specialized equipment necessary for complex electrical work.

Pay: $28.19 - $33.94 per hour
