Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Installation & Repair: Install, repair, and replace plumbing fixtures, pipes, valves, and fittings; handle domestic, commercial, and industrial systems.
- Inspection & Diagnostics: Inspect plumbing systems to identify leaks, clogs, and other issues; troubleshoot and resolve problems efficiently
- Compliance: Follow local and national building codes, safety standards, and regulations in all work
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret blueprints and building plans to plan installations and repairs
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and testing of plumbing systems to ensure efficiency and safety
- Client Coordination: Provide cost estimates, discuss client needs, and deliver high-quality service
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency plumbing calls
- Teamwork: Collaborate with contractors, electricians, and other trades on construction or repair projects
- Skills & Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; plumbing apprenticeship or vocational training preferred
- Licensing: Valid plumbing license or certification required; additional certifications may be needed depending on location and work type
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of mechanical systems, pipefitting, and plumbing codes; proficiency with hand and power tools
- Soft Skills: Problem-solving, attention to detail, physical stamina, and customer service orientation
