Responsibilities
- Assist with the assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of drilling equipment and heavy machinery using hand tools and power tools.
- Support the operation of construction machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and other heavy equipment under supervision.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment including hydraulic systems, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, and electrical components to identify issues early.
- Aid in troubleshooting mechanical problems by following schematics and technical manuals for diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
- Perform basic welding, fabrication, and equipment repairs to ensure operational readiness.
- Help maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly storing tools, parts, and materials.
- Follow all safety protocols during equipment operation and maintenance activities to promote a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
Qualifications
- Previous experience or familiarity with dealership service environments or heavy equipment maintenance is highly preferred.
- Basic mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading skills.
- Familiarity with construction machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, or similar industrial equipment is a plus.
- Knowledge of diesel engine diagnostics, hydraulic systems, electrical diagnostics, brake repair, suspension systems, HVAC systems, and tire service is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during equipment troubleshooting or repairs.
- Strong work ethic with excellent customer service skills when interacting with team members or clients on-site.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating heavy machinery or construction equipment is desirable.
