Job Description

This is a client-facing role where the individual will serve as a trusted partner to institutional investors, retail clients, and consultants throughout the full investor lifecycle across the firm’s alternatives platform. The individual will work closely with the Principal to facilitate all aspects of operational due diligence, onboarding of all investors, and ongoing servicing and communication across our private equity, private credit, and insurance strategies.

The role partners closely with investment and sales teams, finance, legal, compliance, middle office solutions, and fund administrators to deliver a high-touch investor experience at scale, supporting a platform with a large and growing investor base.

This is a high-visibility opportunity for an experienced professional who combines deep knowledge of alternative investments with sound judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead complex investor requests independently.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and participate in operational due diligence meetings (onsite and virtual) across the platform and ensure follow-up materials are provided
  • Support the client acquisition process by collaborating with the sales team and product specialist to quarterback the completion of initial Due Diligence Questionnaires / Requests for Proposal stage through execution of subscription documents
  • Handle all aspects and logistics related to fund closings and operational onboarding for all clients (across all structures from commingled funds to separately managed accounts and fund of one vehicles), by coordinating closely with the fund administrator and partnering with legal and compliance on subscription documents and AML/KYC
  • Manage the full investor relations lifecycle from onboarding through ongoing servicing, ensuring a best-in-class client experience
  • Oversee and coordinate capital call and distribution notices, working closely with fund administration, finance, and legal to ensure accurate and timely delivery to investors across all fund structures
  • Produce and deliver a high volume of monthly, quarterly, annual, ad hoc and bespoke client reporting
  • Help coordinate client events, including but not limited to, conferences, webinars, Advisory Board meetings and Annual General Meetings

Qualifications

  • 8–10 years of experience in investor relations at an alternatives manager or institutional fund
  • Strong working knowledge of both equity and credit strategies, investment vehicles and related client deliverables
  • Demonstrated ability to lead operational due diligence processes and onsite investor visits independently, from preparation through execution
  • Experience managing investor onboarding, subscription document workflows, and fund closing processes
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to establish rapport at all levels and respond comfortably to inbound investor and consultant requests
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong project management skills, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines across concurrent workstreams
  • Highly motivated self-starter who exercises sound judgment and operates effectively both independently and collaboratively across investment, legal, compliance, finance, and operations teams
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, such as Salesforce or a comparable alternatives-focused platform, strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field required; MBA, CFA, or equivalent advanced credential preferred
  • Strong track record and demonstrated commitment to upholding our core values of excellence, teamwork, stewardship, integrity, and respect
