The Role
This is a hands-on, full-charge position — you’ll be the go-to person for all bookkeeping, payroll, and A/R & A/P functions. If you thrive in a small-company environment where you wear multiple hats and work independently, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Process semi-monthly payroll accurately and on time, including payroll tax filings and compliance
- Maintain the general ledger and perform monthly bank and account reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve billing discrepancies
- Invoice customers and follow up on outstanding balances
- Assist with sales tax filings and year-end prep for the company's CPA
- Support basic HR/benefits administration as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience, including payroll processing
- Computer proficiency in MS Office and financial software required
- Experience with ADP payroll platforms
- Strong knowledge of A/R and A/P processes
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles & accrual basis
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, but not required with equivalent experience
