We are hiring a Nurse Practitioner to perform Compensation & Pension examinations for Veterans and transitioning service members. This is a non-treatment, evaluation-only role focused on medical assessments, documentation, and medical opinions that support disability benefit claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-person, full-system medical evaluations
- Review medical histories, service records, and prior exams
- Order and interpret diagnostics (labs, ECGs, spirometry, etc.)
- Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) and Medical Opinions via web portal
- Provide objective medical opinions based on exams and records
- Submit documentation within 24–48 hours
- Follow established medical and behavioral emergency protocols
Qualifications:
- Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Experience with EMR systems and web-based platforms
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Commitment to serving the Veteran population
Salary : $60 - $75
