Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join their team for the next 10 months. This role will be 5 days onsite in NYC.
Role Overview: The Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Coordinator plays a key role in shaping the employee experience from first contact through onboarding. This position partners closely with hiring managers to identify, engage, and onboard individuals who align with organizational goals and values, ultimately contributing to long-term business success.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Leverage multiple channels including job boards, careers pages, social platforms, and industry networks to identify and engage prospective candidates
- Proactively build talent pipelines alongside managing active job postings
- Review applications and conduct initial screenings to assess alignment with role requirements
- Lead introductory phone interviews to evaluate candidate suitability
- Partner with hiring managers and regional leaders to coordinate interviews efficiently
- Gather and consolidate interview feedback to support hiring decisions
- Act as a consistent point of contact for candidates, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience throughout the process
- Support pre-employment processes including background checks, offer documentation, and onboarding logistics
- Maintain accurate and organized candidate and employee records
- Ensure all recruitment data is up to date within internal systems
- Contribute to strengthening the employer brand through candidate interactions and online presence
- Assist in rolling out referral programs and other talent attraction strategies
- Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment partners when needed
- Ensure recruitment practices align with applicable laws and internal policies
- Track and report on hiring metrics and recruitment progress
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across all hiring efforts
- Support health, safety, and workplace compliance initiatives, including documentation and reporting
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Coordinator Qualifications:
- Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience in HR or talent acquisition
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills across all levels
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Detail-driven with a focus on accuracy and process excellence
- Proactive and solutions-oriented, with a commitment to delivering a positive candidate journey
- Working knowledge of employment legislation and workplace safety practices
