The Social Media Specialist develops, creates, and executes social media content and strategies to support marketing campaigns, promote products, drive growth, and foster community engagement. Position Accountabilities
- Create and execute social media content aligned with brand and campaign strategies to drive growth and engagement.
- Manage day-to-day social presence, including scheduling content, responding to comments and messages, editing short-form social videos, monitoring reviews, and managing online reputation.
- Oversee and maintain social content calendars and cross-channel collaborations.
- Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices.
- Work occasional evenings, weekends, and/or holidays as needed to support campaigns and real-time engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of social media and community management experience on a corporate, in-house marketing team or at an agency.
- Preferred: Bilingual Spanish (spoken and written) and direct selling experience.
- Strong collaborator who thrives in a team environment while meeting individual goals.
- Proactive planner able to anticipate obstacles, communicate clearly, and drive solutions across cross-functional teams.
- High energy, positive attitude, and commitment to building strong relationships and community.
- Experience with social media management tools and familiarity with digital marketing tactics (social, community management, content marketing, email).
- Excellent written communication skills with knowledge of AP style.
- Detail-oriented, with strong organizational, project management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable interpreting analytics, telling a story with data, and reporting performance.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proactive, resourceful, reliable, flexible, and able to consistently meet deadlines.
