Learning & Development Technologist
Contract: October 12, 2026 – March 26, 2027
Pay Rate: $53/hour
Location: Racine, WI – Onsite
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with flexibility based on business needs
Interview Process: 2 interviews — one video interview and one onsite interview
About the Role
We are seeking a Learning & Development Technologist who is passionate about helping employees reach their full potential and supporting excellence in learning and development.
This role will support the organization's Learning & Development strategy by leveraging Workday Learning functionality. You will partner closely with HRIS, Organizational Learning, and L&D teams to ensure the successful execution of learning initiatives and programs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HRIS systems, preferably with experience using Workday Learning and its reporting capabilities. This person will play an important role in supporting the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide training programs while helping ensure alignment with business goals and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with HRIS and L&D teams to implement and optimize Workday Learning functionality.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Workday Learning workflows to ensure smooth system operation and accessibility.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor learning program effectiveness and compliance.
- Support learning program implementation, including content uploads, course assignments, and data integrity checks.
- Partner with Organizational Learning teams to evaluate system capabilities and recommend enhancements that improve the user experience.
- Provide technical support for Workday Learning, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and system updates.
- Work with internal and external auditors to run compliance reports and provide requested training records.
- Support enterprise Learning & Development programs, including Train-the-Trainer, New Hire Orientation, and enterprise program administration.
- Stay current on Workday system updates and industry best practices to identify opportunities for process improvement.
Required Education
- Associate's degree in HR, Business Administration, Education, Information Systems, or a related field.
Top Required Skills
- 3 years of experience working with HRIS systems, preferably Workday Learning.
- 1 year of experience with HRIS learning modules and reporting.
- 1 year of experience managing multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Experience with system testing, implementation, and process improvement within HR technology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and broader Learning & Development best practices.
- Experience partnering with HRIS, L&D, and cross-functional teams in a corporate environment.
- Workday certification or specialized training in Workday Learning.
- Experience with instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Education, Information Systems, or a related field.
