Corporate Communications Specialist | Hybrid Contract Opportunity (Golden, CO)

I’m partnering with a growing specialty insurance organization seeking a talented Corporate Communications Specialist to join their Marketing & Communications team. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong writer and communications professional who enjoys shaping company narratives, building relationships, and creating impactful employee and external communications.

This Role Will Focus On

• Leading media relations efforts and identifying proactive PR opportunities
• Developing press releases, executive thought leadership content, and external communications
• Creating internal communications including newsletters, leadership updates, and employee messaging
• Partnering with HR and business leaders on engagement initiatives and organizational communications
• Supporting social media planning, content development, and brand monitoring
• Tracking communications performance and engagement metrics
  
  

Ideal Background

• 3 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or internal communications
• Strong writing, storytelling, and relationship-building skills
• Experience within B2B, financial services, insurance, or professional services environments preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
  
  

Details

• Hybrid – Golden, CO – onsite Tuesday through Thursday (flexibility available for alternate schedules and a 2-day onsite arrangement)
• Contract opportunity – maternity leave coverage beginning early September through the end of 2026, with potential extension into January 2027
