Responsibilities:
- Security & Compliance: Monitor and mitigate vulnerabilities within Solaris and Red Hat Linux (RHEL) environments to ensure strict compliance timelines.
- System Maintenance: Manage, maintain, and upgrade UNIX-based operating systems across physical and virtual environments.
- Backup & Recovery: Execute reliable backup and recovery functions for Solaris and Linux server infrastructures.
- Technology Refreshes: Coordinate hardware and software upgrades, ensuring milestone compliance while minimizing operational disruptions.
- Ticket Management: Resolve and document system issues using the IT help desk incident management system.
- Disaster Recovery: Provide technical support and infrastructure expertise during disaster recovery drills and execution.
