Job Summary

Are you a licensed Pharmacist looking for a high-paying travel assignment in Nebraska? We are seeking a skilled Retail Staff Pharmacist for a 13-week contract starting 11/16/2026 in Thayer County, NE.

Enjoy a predictable Monday–Friday day schedule (plus rotating Saturday mornings), no holiday coverage, no on-call, and an outstanding weekly gross pay package!

Compensation & Schedule Details

• Gross Weekly Pay: $4,335.00 / week (Taxable base tax-free stipends for eligible travelers)
• Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
• Start Date: November 16, 2026 (Quick Start)
• Shift Schedule:
• Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Rotating Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• On-Call / Holidays: NONE (No holidays, no on-call required)
• EMR System: Cerner

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in a retail/outpatient setting while ensuring full legal and regulatory compliance.
• Advise healthcare providers and counsel patients on drug therapy, toxicity, side effects, and proper usage.
• Perform pharmacokinetic evaluation and dosing adjustments tailored to individual patient profiles.
• Oversee non-pharmacist pharmacy personnel involved in the dispensing process and maintain secure drug storage and inventory standards.
• Conduct monthly consulting for contracted Long-Term Care (LTC) facilities as needed.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• License: Active, unrestricted Nebraska Pharmacist License
• Education: Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy (PharmD preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Skills: Excellent clinical judgment, patient counseling abilities, and verbal/written communication skills.
