1st Premier Insurance Services is a small, family-owned and operated business in Sumner, WA. We are seeking to fill a full-time position as an Office Administrative Assistant. This position requires an upbeat personality, friendly customer service attitude and detail oriented. Must have good computer skills, as well as excellent verbal communication skills.
The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to multi-task and work effectively with a team as well as independently.
Job Qualifications:
· High school diploma accepted with some college or equivalent experience
- Pass Fingerprint & Background Checks
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
· Proficiency with MS Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word and other office software.
· Strong calendar management skills to schedule appointments effectively
· Familiarity with front desk operations and phone systems
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable and Punctual.
- Self-starter who takes initiative with priority setting.
- Insurance knowledge is a plus
Job Responsibilities:
1. Answering and managing a Multiline Phone System
2. Meet and greet clients, visitors, and agents in a professional and friendly manner
3. Schedule appointments and manage multiple agency calendars
4. Organizing quote proposals and reports
5. Assist in application preparation, submission and monitoring post enrollment status.
6. Send and respond to email correspondence in a professional and timely manner
7. Utilize the company’s systems and software:
· Next Agency
· Microsoft; word, excel, outlook
· Individual Insurance Company platforms
