Job Summary
THIS IS A PART TIME POSITION. 1st Choice Medical Transportation Services is a non emergency transportation company. We are responsible for transporting patients to and from medical appointments using a Wheelchair and or Stretcher/ Gurney. Please note, this position requires team members to active during transport and includes task like lifting, pushing and pulling. This is a PART-TIME position. Work schedule varies depending on availability. Again, team members must be capable of lifting and bending to perform necessary tasks, including loading and unloading clients using wheelchair and or stretcher. We are looking for individuals with exceptional customer service and listening skills. Please note this is a Part time position with full time hours availability some weeks

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of passengers at designated locations.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Communicate effectively with passengers regarding schedules, routes, and any changes.
• Assist lifting and moving patient from bed to stretcher
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
• Complete necessary paperwork related to trips, including logs of mileage and fuel usage.

Qualifications

• Valid Georgia drivers license.
• Previous experience in customer service roles is highly desirable.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with passengers and team members.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently.
• Experience with heavy lifting is beneficial for assisting passengers with their belongings.
• Knowledge of local traffic laws and routes is an advantage.
• A commitment to safety and maintaining a clean driving record.
