What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN/RN Pediatric Home Healthcare - DAY AND NIGHT 12HR SHIFTS AVAILABLE position at 1st Americare LLC?
Scheduling needs:
Case #1:
Monday through Friday 5am to 3pm
Case #2:
Monday through Wednesday 12hr dayshift 8am to 8pm
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing wound care, and assisting with treatments.
- Conduct physical examinations and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and observations.
- Utilize electronic health records (EHRs) to update patient information and track treatment progress.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their condition, treatment options, and prevention strategies.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols and other safety standards.
- Monitor and report patient progress, including any changes or concerns.
Experience:
- A current LPN/RN license in the state of employment.
- Experience working in home healthcare settings.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Experience with gtube/trach/vent highly preferred
- Experience with patients with seizures highly preferred
- Experience in Pediatrics highly preferred
