Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of mechanical and electrical equipment and systems.
- Perform installation and commissioning of new equipment, including wiring, alignment, and configuration.
- Conduct routine and preventative maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime and extend equipment life.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial motor controls, 480V 3-phase power systems, and electrical panels.
- Work with industrial control systems including PLCs (Allen-Bradley preferred) and VFDs.
- Operate shop equipment such as drill presses, band saws, grinders, and other fabrication tools as needed.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
- Document work performed, maintain accurate records, and follow all safety and compliance protocols.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment, with proven expertise in both mechanical and electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems including motor controls, PLCs, and VFDs.
- Proficient with 480V 3-phase power, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and mechanical drive systems (gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and electrical drawings.
- Comfortable working independently and prioritizing tasks with minimal supervision.
- Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance needs as required.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and control systems.
- Fabrication and machining experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Technical certifications or relevant coursework in electrical or mechanical disciplines.
Pay: $21.60 - $30.19/hour
