Responsibilities:
- Ability to set up machines with the needed materials. Load and unload materials, parts, or products onto or from pallets, skids, conveyors, or trucks.
- Inspect and pack manufactured products in an efficient manner with regards to quality standards.
- Perform basic manufacturing processes by operating contingent line equipment.
- Ability to comprehend and follow work instructions including Work Orders, Specification Sheets, and Production Reporting.
- Fully understand that working overtime is a condition of employment.
- Will follow Company personnel and product safety requirements including standards such as those from SQF and internal GMPs.
- Operate Forklift equipment to move materials.
- Must follow proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous waste in accordance with State and Federal laws.
- Additional duties may be deemed necessary by management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1 years of experience in a Production/Manufacturing environment required.
- Prior machine operation experience preferred.
- Previous Forklift experience required.
- Prior experience with quality processes and measurement devices preferred.
- Remain continuously within the normal work area, except for formal break times.
- Position requires regular, predictable, and punctual attendance and ability to work overtime as required, including weekends.
- Wear OSHA approved personal protective equipment (PPE) where required by Company policy or where necessary as dictated by safe practice.
- Requires the ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Requires prolonged sitting, standing, bending, stooping, and stretching.
- Requires exposure to machines and chemicals.
- Requires eye-hand coordination, manual dexterity and a normal range of hearing and vision (with or without correction)
Pay: $19-20 per hour
