Job Overview
Small locally owned and operated tree removal company (residential & commercial) has Immediate opening for Experienced bucket truck operator. Climbing experience is a bonus! CDL is a bonus! Must have minimum of 5 yrs experience. Must know all your knots and be able to demonstrate. DO NOT apply if you are a beginner. Starting pay will be between $25 ~ $35 per hr. Pay is based on YOUR experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate bucket trucks safely and efficiently for tree trimming and maintenance tasks.
- Perform tree care activities including pruning, shaping, and removal as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members to execute landscape maintenance projects effectively.
- Maintain clear communication with clients regarding project status and any potential issues.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks on the job site.
- Assist in the growth of the company by providing high-quality service that meets client expectations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating bucket trucks is a MUST.
- Knowledge of tree trimming techniques and practices is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with maintenance and basic mechanical skills.
- Snow plowing & salting knowledge a plus.
- Knowledge of skid loader, mini skid, stump grinder, chipper and various other equipment used in tree work.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is a requirement and candidates will not be considered without this.
